If your timepiece requires service, we invite you to contact us with the details. It would be our pleasure to provide a comprehensive technical evaluation and a bespoke service estimate, meticulously tailored to the individual needs of your watch.

COMPLETE MAINTENANCE

At the start of the service process, a watchmaker carefully assesses the technical functionality of the movement and complications, as well as the aesthetic condition of the case and bracelet. Based on this thorough inspection, we determine the appropriate service needs and identify any replacement parts required to restore and guarantee the optimal function and appearance of your timepiece. After extracting the movement, we dismantle the case and clean all parts in an ultrasonic bath. Our Complete Maintenance Service also includes ultrasonic cleaning of the case and metal bracelet.

The movement itself undergoes a complete cleaning: each part is disassembled, cleaned, and inspected for wear or damage. Any worn components are replaced, or repaired, and the mechanism is carefully reassembled, lubricated, and finely adjusted to ensure optimal performance. After the movement is serviced, the dial and hands are mounted, and the mechanism is refitted into the clean case. The watch is then sealed to prevent dust and moisture ingress. A comprehensive final quality control process follows, which includes power reserve testing, rate and accuracy measurement over 12 hours, air pressure and water resistance checks, and an aesthetic inspection. Every timepiece serviced is covered by a 2-year service warranty, which includes all workmanship and replacement parts.

RESTORATION

Restoration requires highly specialized skills, many of which are extremely rare today, and it is our objective to preserve the original condition of each timepiece from both a technical and aesthetic perspective. This commitment extends to the use of original parts and legacy techniques dating back to the epoch in which the timepiece was crafted. We maintain an extensive inventory of movement parts and case components from past eras. In cases where required parts are no longer available, our specialists will attempt to skillfully replicate them.

Upon completion of the restoration process, the timepiece will retain its original value, and historic integrity. A critical aspect of restoration is that every intervention must respect and preserve the individual identity of the timepiece. Given the complexity, rarity, and high level of expertise involved, a full restoration project may require up to two years or more to complete.

REFINISHING

The case and bracelet are refinished and polished with extreme care to respect the original design. A cleaning cycle is applied to cases and metal bracelets to ensure the removal of all residues, which is essential in preparation for refinishing and polishing to prevent particle-induced scratching. Refinishing may involve gentle retouching or several interventions requiring differentiated techniques. Traditional refinishing and polishing are performed manually using a “free-hand” technique, relying on extensive experience, virtuosity, and quick reflexes. Alternative techniques include satin finishing, lasering, lapping, and diamond polishing, the latter resulting in a mirror-like gloss. Certain work on the case or bracelet must include polishing to ensure the perfect aesthetic of the watch. It is important to note that there is a limit to the number of polishing sequences that can be applied during the lifetime of a watch.

WATER RESISTANCE TREATMENT

The disassembly and cleaning of the case, the checking of the movement and the replacement of damaged components is necessary to ensure the watch's water resistance. If your watch is equipped with a quartz movement, we will replace the battery as well. This service carries a warranty limited to the replaced components.

PVD COATING

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD): This process involves applying a thin coating to the watch’s surface, enhancing its scratch resistance and maintaining its shine and polish even with exposure to wear and tear. This treatment is especially useful for watches that may be subject to daily use, ensuring they retain their aesthetic appeal over time.
